DUE TO THE CHILD PROTECTION ACT WE ARE REQUIRED TO STRICTLY ENFORCE THE FOLLOWING RULE:
EVERY CHILD UNDER 18 YEARS OLD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN OVER THE AGE OF 18 AT ALL TIMES WHEN
ON CLUB PROPERTY WHETHER COMPETING OR SPECTATING.
RUDE, ABUSIVE OR THREATENING BEHAVIOUR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AT ANY SHOW, RALLY OR EVENT.
ANYONE BEHAVING IN AN UNACCEPTABLE MANNER WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
GENERAL
1. CHILDREN'S AGES ARE TAKEN FROM 1ST JANUARY OF THE CURRENT YEAR. AGE ON 1ST JANUARY MUST BE SHOWN ON MEMBERSHIP FORM. JUNIORS 17 YEARS & UNDER ON 1ST JANUARY.
2. MEMBERS MUST PAY THEIR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE COMPETING IN ANY CLUB EVENTS.
3. NO HORSE/PONY UNDER 4 YEARS OLD WILL BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN ANY OF OUR RIDDEN EVENTS
4. AT OPEN EVENTS, HORSE CLASSES ARE FOR HORSES OVER 148CM.
5, YOU MUST NOT LEAVE YOUR HORSE/PONY UNATTENDED TIED UP OUTSIDE EITHER A HORSEBOX OR TRAILER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
6. YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO OBTAIN THIRD PARTY INSURANCE.
7. AT ALL EVENTS PONIES/HORSES MUST BE RIDDEN QUIETLY WITH CONSIDERATION TO OTHER COMPETITORS AND SPECTATORS.
8. LUNGING ONLY IN SAFE AREAS.
9. PLEASE NOTE AT EDRC EVENTS DRAW-REINS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE COLLECTING RING.
10. WHEN RIDING ON PUBLIC ROADS, MEMBERS ARE REMINDED TO RIDE CAREFULLY AND TO SHOW COURTESY & RESPECT TO OTHER ROAD USERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE COURTEOUS DRIVERS WHEN SAFE TO DO SO.
11. EDRC COMPLIES WITH SAFEGUARDING POLICIES. FOR THIS REASON UNLESS PRIOR PERMISSION HAS BEEN GAINED,. ONLY INVITED & OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS MAY BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE COMPETITORS & GENERAL PUBLIC AT EVENTS.

A Smart sensible top.
A hat which conforms to current European Safety Standards.
In the interests of safety, long hair should be fastened in a hairnet & no jewellery should be worn.
Back protectors are highly recommended.
In any lead rein event the leader must be wearing a hard hat, gloves & sensible shoes.
SATURDAY DRESSAGE
Plain, beige, cream or white jodhpurs with either long riding boots (not country boots or wellingtons), jodhpur boots or jodhpur boots with matching half gaitors.
A show jacket with a plain shirt worn with either a tie or stock.
Gloves are compulsory.
A hat which conforms to current European Safety Standards.
CROSS COUNTRY RALLIES & OPEN DAYS
Plain jodhpurs with either long riding boots (not country boots or wellingtons), jodhpur boots or jodhpur boots with matching half gaitors.
Sensible Long sleeved top.
BODY PROTECTORS ARE MANDATORY
NO HOODIES.
A hat which conforms to current European Safety Standards IT MUST NOT HAVE FIXED PEAK.
If you need to cancel your place on a clinic due to unforeseen circumstances, your fee will be carried over to be used at another date. If this happens more than once, it is at the discretion of the club as whether or not a refund can be issued.

If met office have issued a weather warning for the day of an event, the committee will review the weather forecast the day before the event and make a decision as to whether the event is to take place. Any entries withdrawn by members due to weather, where the committee has decided to continue to run the event, the normal cancellation policy will apply
